Cyberpunk 2077: Disasterpiece Braindance Guide

In Cyberpunk 2077, V simply cannot seem to catch a break. After an attempt to discreetly steal a valuable artifact from the powerful Arasaka company is botched beyond repair, V is thrust into a life-changing series of events that lead him to search for the client of the job: Evelyn Parker.

Finding her, however, proves to be an incredibly difficult feat, as Evelyn has disappeared from all her regular contacts. With the help of Judy Alvarez and after a trek through an adult-themed district, V finds a braindance that will possibly help him locate Evelyn.

How To Complete The Disasterpiece Braindance

While in the adult shopping district, V will eventually find himself bartering with a hardcore smut dealer who carries snuff BDs. With a little cash, V will walk away from the deal with a braindance that will hopefully lead to the discovery of Evelyn’s whereabouts. He will immediately slot into the braindance upon returning to Judy’s van. Watch the braindance in full to see two Scavs killing a new, seemingly random victim. After the BD runs, drop into edit mode and begin dissecting the section. There are nine scannable items in the braindance. Not every scannable piece is important to the objective, but they are always worth the scan.

• Immediately after hopping over to edit mode, V will be able to scan the victim and the kidnapper as they are together. The victim is being dragged over to his death chair by the enormous Scav. Keep in mind that the three people in this braindance can be scanned at just about any point of the BD.
• While the Scav is dragging the victim to the chair, they will pass a steaming pizza box. Scan this, and V will identify that the pizza had arrived recently, as it was still hot and fresh. He will also identify the pizza parlor it came from.
• When the kidnapper and victim reach the chair, another female Scav will be present. Scan her for another piece of the BD and identify the duo.
• Switch to the audio layer and scan the green soundwave behind the two Scavs before the kidnapper drops the victim into the chair. The scan will pick up human screams, indicating that this is not the only room in the building where torturing and killing victims is happening.
• Behind the female, Scav will be a worker suit for a power plant that V will identify as the Electric Corporation. He will note that the presence of the suit is on par with the thermal heat signals he was reading from the BD and assume that this is where Evelyn might be located.
• Allow the female Scav to reach the monitors in the BD and scan the coffee cup on the table next to her. V will identify the cup but note that it is old and cold.
• In the back corner, across from the chair, is a radio. Switch over the audio layer to see the green pulsing waves from the corner. Scan it to identify the radio, which V will suggest is on to cover the screams of the victim.
• Next to the coffee cup is a box that V can scan. He will identify it as a Buck-A-Slice box, which is a bottom-of-the-barrel place where desperate people can buy Styrofoam-tasting food. V will posit that the cold coffee but warm pizza means someone was making an effort to drive away to get these less-than-desirable foodstuffs.

The Next Step

Once all nine sources have been scanned, V can safely exit the braindance without fear of missing any secrets. After a brief conversation with Judy, V can decide to meet her at the Electric Corporation or choose to drive straight there with her. Depending on what, if any, extra things the player wants or needs to complete in Night City before they go, the choice is purely optional. Once V has arrived at the building, he will either sneak or fight his way through the power plant to attempt to rescue Evelyn.
