Cyberpunk 2077 is full of mechanics that make the game unique and give it a refreshing feel when playing it. Whether you’re looking at the many different mechanics surrounding Weapon Types or the crafting system, you have a ton of interesting things to do.

Once mechanic that is extremely important in the Cyberpunk 2077 world is the one surrounding Quickhacks. These are attributes that you can add to the different Cyberdecks that V can equip. They give you extra effects and benefits that will make playing the game much easier. Here is a guide to the best Quickhacks.

10 Weapon Glitch

Weapon Glitch is a Control Quickhack. This will cause the weapon of whatever enemy you select to malfunction, making it impossible to use. Depending on the rarity of the Quickhack, this duration increases and can even spread to enemies within a certain radius. Being able to control that many weapons at a time is extremely useful.

If you want this Quickhack, you will need to purchase it. You can obtain the uncommon version at the Netrunner Vendor. The rare version can be found in Japantown, Coastview, Vista Del Rey, and Little China. The Epic version is only available at Nix in Little China.

9 Ping

Ping is a Covert Quickhack. This Quickhack will show you all nearby enemies and devices. The rarer the Quickhack is, the longer it will last. With the legendary version, you will be able to quickhack devices through walls. What makes this so great is that you are able to hack into these devices and truly use stealth.

This Quickhack is also purchasable. The uncommon version is given to V via the quest “The Gift.” You can also get it from a Netrunner Vendor. Rare versions can be obtained from Coastview, Japantown, Vista Del Rey, and Kabuki. Finally, the epic version is purchased in Chang Hoon Nam in Japan Town.

8 Contagion

Contagion is a Combat Quickhack that will do damage to your enemies. It will deal posion damage to the targets within a certain radius. The better the rarity, the longer it lasts, more damage it does, and the more targets it will hit. Its legendary version will even allow all Quickhacks that do damage to hit one additional target. This is a great option since you can do damage to multiple targets over time.

This is another one that can be purchased. The uncommon version is found at all Netrunner Vendors. If you want the rare version, you need to go to Vista Del Rey, Coastview, or Little China. The Epic variant can be purchased from Nix in Little China.

7 Memory Wipe

Memory Wipe is a Covert Quickhack. It helps you if you’re being pursued by enemies. It will cause the selected target to have a memory lapse, forgetting that they were in a combative state. The higher the rarity, the more targets this can effect at once. This is great because it gives you an opportunity to get into stealth if you’re surrounded by enemies.

Like other Quickhacks, this can be purchased. You can purchase the rare version at the Netrunner Vendors in Coastview, Japantown, and Vista Del Rey, or from Yoko Tsuru in Kabuki. Finally, the epic version can be found at the Netrunner in Vista Del Rey.

6 Detonate Grenade

Detonate Grenade is an Ultimate Quickhack that can be found in the game. It will allow you to target certain enemies and make the grenades they have detonate. At legendary, you can reduce the RAM of your next Ultimate Quickhack if you kill an enemy with the detonation. This can help you do massive amounts of damage quickly. This is an amazing Quickhack.

This Quickhack is the first on the list that requires crafting. You need the Hacker Overlord Perk to craft the epic version. If you want the legendary version, you need the Bartmoss Legacy Perk to craft.

5 Short Circuit

The Short Circuit Quickhack is a Combat one. This specific one will cause a target enemy to be electrocuted, messing with their Cyberware. This will cause Electrical Damage to the enemy. The higher the rarity, the more enemies it will hit and the more damage it will do. This is great since it is another Quickhack that will do damage to enemies while you attack.

This can easily be purchased for use. The uncommon version is found at any Netrunner Vendor in the game. You can purchase the rare version in Coastview, Japantown, Vista Del Rey, and Little China. The epic one is purchased in Kabuki and the legendary is found by hacking Access Points.

4 Reboot Optics

Reboot Optics is a Covert Quickhack that works with your Cyberdeck. It allows you to disable your target’s Cyberware, making them blind. The better the rarity you have, the longer this effect lasts. It can also increase the amount of targets that the effect works on. What makes this so great is that while your targets are blind, you can either get some attacks in or you can use stealth and hide.

This Quickhack is only available at select vendors. If you want the uncommon version, it is found at all Netrunner Vendors. However, the rare version is only found at the Ripperdoc in West Wind Estate. Finally, the epic version is found in Coastview at the Netrunner Vendor.

3 Breach Protocol

The Breach Protocol is a Device Quickhack. This means that it comes pre-installed on all Cyberdecks. Using this Quickhack allows you to hack into a local network and upload Daemons. These will then infiltrate the enemies and devices that are connected to the network. This can allow you to do some real damage to multiple enemies, making it an amazing Quickhack.

This is the easiest Quickhack to get out of all of them that are available in the game. It is a requirement that all Cyberdecks come pre-installed with this Quickhack, making it a constant Quickhack throughout the game that you can use whenever.

2 Cyberpsychosis

Cyberpsychosis is an Ultimate Quickhack that can be used by those who have it equipped. This is one of the best Quickhacks because it causes the target to go into Cyverpsychosis, making them unable to tell who is a friend and who is a foe. If there are no other enemies, the target will automatically die. This is so great because it can help create a diversion for you. It also helps you clear out an area.

This is another Quickhack that requires crafting. You need to obtain the Perk Hacker Overlord if you want to create this Quickhack. For the legendary version, you need to obtain the Perk Bartmoss Legacy. You can then craft this Quickhack.

1 Suicide

The Suicide Quickhack is by far the best one in the game. This Quickhack causes your target to commit suicide. This is an instant-kill Quickhack, making it extremely powerful. If you find the legendary version you can use this Quickhack to lower the amount of RAM your next Ultimate Quickhack.

This is another Quickhack that requires crafting. Once again, you will need the Hacker Overlord Perk for the epic version of the Quickhack. The legendary version requires the Bartmoss Legacy Perk. However, if you don’t pick up any other, this is the Quickhack you want to get.
