Coursera’s IPO windfall: the takeaways for Indian ed-tech companies that plan to get listed

Coursera’s listing in April 2021 is a significant value-creation story for ed-tech, especially as it comes a year after the pandemic resulted in the biggest global shift towards online learning. Doubling its mid-2020 private-market valuation of USD2.6 billion, the listed entity raised USD519 million with a market capitalisation of USD5.8 billion.
