Interested and eligible candidates of Chhattisgarh can apply online through the official website – http://www.psc.cg.gov.in/ – starting on December 12, 2021 from 12:00 midnight to 23:59 PM on December 31, 2021. Applications can be made on the departmental website – http://www.psc.cg.gov.in/. Detailed advertisement, recruitment process, method of online application and fee and other complete information is available in the departmental website.

Applications for the advertised post will be accepted online only. Any kind of manual or applications sent by post will not be accepted by the department. The application form can be filled only for the selected forest division.

Rs 250/- for native / local residents of Chhattisgarh who come under the category of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) notified for Chhattisgarh and

Rs 350/- for all other categories applicants

For the above examination, the candidate can pay the examination fee and portal fee through credit/debit card, internet banking deposit/wallet. No bank drafts or checks will be accepted for payment of examination fee.

CG Forest Guard Recruitment 2021: Selection Process

After scrutinizing the applications, the eligible candidates will be called for physical measurement test as per the procedure laid down by the government. Candidates, who fulfill the physical qualification will be called for physical proficiency test. For which the information regarding the date and venue will be given separately on the departmental website.

This physical efficiency test will be of total 100 marks. The details of Physical Efficiency Test are as follows

Written exam


Merit list will be prepared caste/category wise based on the result of Physical Efficiency Test. And out of this list only maximum 15 times the number of advertised posts applicants will be given an opportunity to appear in the written examination. All the candidates securing the same minimum marks will be eligible for the next stage even if the number exceeds 15 times. The written test will be of total 100 marks and its duration will be 2 hours.

In this, questions from General Knowledge, Intelligence Ability, Analytical Ability and Mathematics will be asked, which will be of objective type.

Bonus Marks

Candidates will be awarded five bonus marks in each of the heads for the special merit of the headings mentioned below. The aggregate of the special qualifications shall not exceed 10 marks.

– NCC ‘C’ Certificate Certificate of Minimum B Grade

– Proficiency in Sports at National Level – All India level competitions of sports included in the list of Olympic Games which are directly administered by All India Association of Sports.

– Only winner and runner-up in team event.

– Only the first three ranked players in the individual event will be eligible for bonus points.

Merit List


Selection list will be prepared on the basis of Physical Efficiency Test 100 Marks, Written Test 100 Marks, and Bonus Marks 10 Marks.
