Celebs make social distancing statements, in style

And lately, the mood of the season seems to be pandemic-inspired fashion for them. Many actors and singers were seen slaying their everyday look while sending out social-distancing messages.

Recently, actor Aahana S Kumra wore a T-shirt that screamed ‘social distancing expert’, and Aparshakti Khurana was seen wearing a mask that stated, ‘anti-social club’. Worldwide too, several celebrities have shared the sentiment with social distancing-approved clothing. Actor Emma Roberts sported a T-shirt with the slogan, “Don’t stand so close to me.”

Quarantine-approved gear is quickly becoming a part of everyday style, feels designer Nachiket Barve. He says, “Celebrities are a billboard for setting the mood of the population. So now, in the pandemic, we have become like a blank canvas to experiment with clothing, and typography has become the new graffiti.”

It’s a look for those who want to be careful, trendy yet stylish, opines stylist Isha Bhansali. Giving some tips to ace the look, she recommends, “Don’t wear anything that takes away the attention from the element. Let the focus be on the statement piece, like a cap, T-shirt, bag or mask. Avoid too much of print.”
