BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Campbellsville (Ky.) and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) are tied following the first two rounds of the Mid-South Conference Women’s Golf Championship at Bowling Green Country Club.
Both the Tigers and the Blue Raiders finished with a two-round score of 608. Campbellsville shot a 306 in the first round and carded a 302 in round two. Lindsey Wilson shot a 312 in round one and a 296 in round two.
Cumberland’s (Tenn.) Emma Hermansson sits atop the individual leaderboard after shooting a 1-over par 145 (72-73). She was 1-under on par fours and also was one of three players to record an eagle.
Cumberlands’ Maria Neira is in second with a 148, Lindsey Wilson’s Zofia Wojcik is third with a 149 and Campbellsville’s Gracie Parrott is fourth with a 150. Cumberland’s Nathalie Nutu and Campbellsville’s Connor Geralds are tied for fifth.
Cumberland sits in third after shooting a 610, Cumberlands is fourth with a 620 and Freed-Hardeman is fifth with a 648.
Pikeville is sixth with a 660, Bethel (Tenn.) is seventh after shooting a 674 and Thomas More (Ky.) is eighth with a 675.
Georgetown (Ky.) sits in ninth with a 681. Tennessee Southern and Shawnee State round out the team standings with a 737 and a 751, respectively.
The final round of the MSC Women’s Golf Championship begins at 8:30 a.m. CT at Bowling Green Country Club. Due to forecasted inclement weather in the afternoon, tomorrow will be a shotgun start with the players riding in carts. Due to players riding in carts there will not be spectator carts available.
