Nodwin Gaming has announced the second season of BGMI Masters Series 2023. After the success of the first season, held last year, the tournament is back, once again in partnership with Star Sports. Only this time, the stakes raised are higher.
BGMI Masters Series Season 2 will kick off on August 4, 2023 with 24 teams. Of these, 14 teams will enter the tournament via direct invitation. Open qualifiers will be held for the remaining ten teams. While we still don’t have the exact schedule of matches, or other details like when registrations go live for open qualifiers, the prize pool, however, has been revealed. BGMI Master Series 2022 will have a total prize pool of INR 2.1 Crore, that is INR 50 lakhs more than the first season.
Star Sports will broadcast BGMI Master Series Season 2
The broadcast of the BGMI Master Series reportedly garnered well over 100 million viewership. Once again, BGMI Masters Series Season 2 will be showcased live on Star Sports Network in three languages: Hindi, English, and Tamil. You can catch the action live starting August 4 at 9:30 pm. Star Sports will also have “additional programming to provide viewers with a distinctive and enriching esports experience, setting the popular sports network as a key destination for BGMI enthusiasts.” However, details of this “additional programming” have not been revealed. Meanwhile, Rooter has been announced as the digital streaming partner.
