NEW DELHI: The earwear category showed impressive growth in the third quarter and Ptron retained its fifth position as its shipments grew 81.9% during the quarter. In order to further enhance its position, the company has launched its latest pair of affordable true wireless earbuds in the country. Ptron has launched its latest Bassbuds Tango true wireless earbuds in India. The earbuds come with Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) and offer support for Bluetooth version 5.1.
Price and availability
Ptron Bassbuds Tango comes with a price tag of Rs 1,299 and it can be purchased in Active Black and Stone White colour options. Customers can purchase the true wireless earbuds online from Amazon India website.
At this price point, the earbuds will face competition from the recently launched Boult Audio AirBass GearPods true wireless stereo earbuds which comes with a price tag of Rs 999.
The device comes with an in-built microphone for calls. The device has an 8mm driver unit which promises to offer immersive and deep bass sound output. The true wireless earbuds come with IPX5 rating which makes the device water-resistant.
Ptron Bassbuds Tango features
Ptron Bassbuds Tango comes with a 13mm driver unit and Bluetooth version 5.1. The earbuds come with environmental noise cancellation. The earbuds promise to filter out ambient noises from the background and offer a clear sound output.
The earbuds also offer a dedicated Movie-mode feature that ensures zero lag between audio and visuals for an long movie and binge-watch session. Ptron Bassbuds Tango comes with IPX4 rating which makes the earbuds sweat and water-resistant.
The company claims that the true wireless earbuds can deliver up to 20 hours of playback with the charging case. The earbuds also come with fast charging functionality and it promises to offer 3 hours of music playback with 10 minutes of charging.
