Apple Diwali offer is now live: Here’s how to get Apple AirPods free – Times of India

Apple’s Diwali offer is now live. As announced earlier, buyers of select iPhone 12 series phones from the Apple India store will get Apple AirPods for free. The offer is applicable on Apple iPhone 12 and Apple iPhone 12 mini.
Apple slashed the prices of the iPhone 12 series after the launch of the iPhone 13 series last month. The price of Apple iPhone 12 mini was slashed by Rs 10,000 whose base model now costs Rs 59,900. While the iPhone 12 got a price cut of Rs 14,000. Its base model with 64GB storage is now priced at Rs 65,900. While the top model with 256GB storage is now priced at Rs 80,900.
Apple has listed both these iPhones at their new MRPs on its online store. This means that there will be no discount on the price of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini during the offer days. The Diwali offer only includes free AirPods on purchase of either of the 5G smartphones. Readers must note that it is not clear till when the offer will last.
As part of the offer, customers will have two buying options to choose from. They can either buy iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 mini at their MRP and get AirPods for free, or they can trade-in their old Apple iPhone or Android smartphone. As listed on the Apple India online store, buyers can get up to Rs 46,120 off when they trade in an iPhone 8 or newer.
Without the trade-in program, iPhone 12 will cost Rs 65,900. While the iPhone 12 mini will cost Rs 59,900. They can also opt for the EMI purchase option that starts from Rs 7,050 per month for iPhone 12 mini whereas EMI for iPhone 12 starts from Rs 7,756 per month.
The offer comes amidst the ongoing discount on iPhone 12 on Flipkart. The handset’s base variant is available at Rs 49,999 on the e-tailer’s site.
