apple: Apple iPhone SE launch: 6 predictions from popular Apple analyst on the first iPhone of 2022 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Apple iPhone SE launch is almost here. Apple is set to hold its first big event of the year 2022 on March 8. The company is likely to launch the third-generation of its most-affordable iPhone, iPhone SE at the event. As the day nears, one of the most-popular Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has made some predictions about the upcoming iPhone SE in a Twitter post. Here’s what Kuo tweeted, calling them, some predictions for the coming new iPhone SE:

1. Mass production starts in March 2022
2. Apple is likely to ship 25-30 million units in the year 2022
3. Apple iPhone SE 3 may come in three storage options: 64/128/256GB
4. iPhone SE 3 to run on Apple’s A15 Bionic chipset, same that powers iPhone 13 series. It is likely to come with 5G support (mmW & Sub-6 GHz)
5. Apple iPhone SE 3 to come in three colour options: White, black and red
6. Apple iPhone SE 3 may have similar form factor design as the current-generation iPhone SE
Other than these, Apple iPhone SE 3 has been keeping the tech rumour mill busy since months now. Other speculated specifications of the upcoming iPhone SE include 4.7-inch retina HD display. The smartphone is also tipped to come with the TouchID home button. iPhone SE 3 will run on Apple iOS 15 operating system out-of-the-box. Apple iPhone SE 2 is available at around Rs 40,000 onwards in India.
