Anushka Sharma makes sleepwear look cosy but classy in stripe, floral pyjama set

Florals are a big favourite of the celebrities’ wardrobes currently and Anushka Sharma is no different even when she is serving a laid-back off-duty aesthetic in the fashion world. Recently, the diva gave fans a glimpse of her morning routine but it is her comfortable and stylish sleepwear pictures with Virat Kohli that take our love to laze around in PJs to next level and has us hooked with a strong desire to not leave the warm soft bed but in a fashionable way.

Making sleepwear look cosy but classy and well groomed, Anushka shared a picture on her social media handle which featured her in a blue and white stripe pyjama set that came with floral prints. The cute personalized pyjama set sported Anushka Sharma’s name embroidered in dark blue on the shirt’s pocket while the striped PJs sported floral motifs in indigo, green, grey and red hues.

Lounging with a book in hand and a pile of books on the table before her, Anushka sat next to a window with her mid-parted hair let down and accessorised her look with a scrunchie on one wrist and her wedding ring on the finger of the other hand. Wearing a dab of pink lipstick, Anushka opted for minimalistic makeup look as she donned the loungewear while in the middle of an oil pulling session.

Earlier, Virat had shared a picture of Anushka’s same cosy look in March as they gave fans a sneak-peek of their intimate snuggling session. Kneeling next to her padded chair, Virat was seen cuddling his actor-wife and had captioned the picture simply with a red heart emoji.

The cotton sleepwear set is credited to Jaipur based sleepwear brand, Blanche, which boasts of thoughtfully designed, luxurious lounge wear and chic sleepwear for men, women and children, handcrafted using the best of fabrics. Loungewear and active wear are rapidly taking over street style looks with their quirkiness be it stylish pyjamas, mesh sports bras or kitschy printed track pants.

With lockdown still intact in several places, the loungewear trend is getting thumbs up all across the world and style curators are already bent double to creatively transform it into mainstream fashion. While the comfort wear and workout wear are having a moment in the fashion world and PJs are here to dominate our wardrobes instead of jeans, we can’t wait to add Anushka’s pyjama set to our sleepwear wardrobe this season.
