NEW DELHI: Continuing with its annual trend, Google has once again released the complete list of best Android apps and games for 2021. The tech giant has announced the winners of the Google Play Best of 2021 awards in India. Like always the list includes apps and games across categories which include User’s Choice, Best App, Best Game and more.
According to this year’s list, Clubhouse: The Social Audio App is the most popular Android app in the Users’ Choice category. As the name suggests Clubhouse is an audio-only social networking app. The app gained a lot of popularity last year and is used by several high-profile celebrities, investors, politicians and entrepreneurs. Once you’re in the Clubhouse you can drop in and out of different chats depending on your areas of interest. You have the choice to pipe in with your thoughts or simply just listen in to what’s happening around various rooms.
On the other hand, Garena Free Fire MAX is the most popular Android game in the Users’ Choice category. It is a popular battle royal game that comes with HD graphics and enhanced special effects. Players are allowed to create different squads of up to 4 players and establish communication with each other right from the start.
Talking about the new list of apps and games, Google said, “In India, once again, we saw a diverse range of apps help people across the country with relevant – and often unique – solutions to their daily needs. This year, we saw a distinctive rise in e-learning, with many winners finding creative ways to help India learn a range of skills online, be it mastering a passion through celebrity-led virtual classes with FrontRow, or using AI to scale student learning outcomes with Embibe.”
