Ananya Panday wishes sister Rysa Pandey on 18th birthday, Suhana Khan miffed at being cropped out of pic

Actor Ananya Panday took to social media on Thursday to wish younger sister Rysa Pandey, who turned 18. Ananya shared a carousel of pictures with her sister to mark the special occasion, topping it off with a sweet caption. The post saw several celebs from Bollywood wishing Rysa as well. Ananya’s friend and Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, however, had one objection- she had apparently been cropped out of one of the pictures. Ananya wrote in her caption: “Happy 18th birthday chuhiyaaa (mouse emoji) my whole heart.” The pictures showed Ananya and Rysa in a variety of situations, from wandering on the beach to having dinner together. Ananya’s post saw actors Sanjay Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, and their cousin Alanna Pandey extend wishes to Rysa.

But what caught fans attention was the comment by Suhana Khan. She was apparently miffed at being cropped out of one of the pictures Ananya had posted. “Thanks for the crop,” she commented, followed by “What the hell”. Fans had some funny replies to Suhana’s comment. One fan commented, “Feel sorry for you Suhana, tum bhi kar dena isko crop (you also crop her).” Another fan referred to her dad Shah Rukh’s iconic line and quipped, “Bade bade shehero me choti choti baatein hoti rehti hain (Such small things keep happening in big cities).”

Ananya and Rysa share a strong bond. In an earlier interview with Hindustan Times, Ananya had shared that she values Rysa’s opinion a lot. During the promotions of her recent release Gehraiyaan, she was asked whose praise she valued the most. Ananya answered, “For me, my biggest compliment was my younger sister Rysa because she is a huge cinema lover and she wants to be a filmmaker herself. So, it’s really hard to please her. But she loved it. She said, ‘This is kind of film that I want to make’. So that was a big compliment.”
