Airtel being one of the best telecom service providers in the country, has a lot of different schemes and plans to suit all types of needs of the customers. Airtel had recently launched some new schemes, plans including Airtel Black, Airtel Office Internet and so on. Now, airtel is here for all the prepaid customers who think that their daily data limit is not sufficient for them. The new Airtel Data Add-on plan is priced at just Rs 119 and is available for the customers with prepaid service only.
Airtel Data Add-on Plan : Benefits, Validity
The Airtel Data Add-on plan priced at Rs 119 is for prepaid customers and offers 15GB of additional data balance. The plan being an add-on and not a standalone plan, has no validity of its own. It’s validity is same as that of the existing plan user has subscribed for on the airtel number. As it is a Data add-on plan, it doesn’t come up with calling or SMS benefits but has some additional benefits for the user. It offers a 30-day free subscription to one of the three channels on Airtel X-Stream Mobile App on Android / iOS. Airtel prepaid users have an option to choose any one of the ErosNow (Hindi), Hoichoi (Bengali) and ManoramaMax (Malayalam) OTT Channels for a month subscription.
This data add-on plan can be subscribed using Airtel Thanks App or any other 3rd party recharge service.
Airtel : Other Interesting Plans
Airtel had recently launched updated Disney+ Hotstar plans. They are now priced at Rs 499, Rs 699 and Rs 2798. The Rs 499 plan offers 3GB data per day for 28 days, Rs 699 plan offers 2GB data for 56 days and the Rs 2798 plan offers 2GB data for 365 days. The plans also give access to unlimited calling as well as 100 SMS per day. The plans also include access to Amazon Prime Video Mobile Edition along with the subscription to Disney + Hotstar, so mobile users will have access to Disney+ Hotstar as well as Amazon Prime.
Airtel has also started the process of tariff hikes last month by increasing base tariffs of plans from Rs 49 to Rs 79. These tariffs are now likely to see a further increase in price. The base plans might be further increased to Rs 99, according to company chairman Mr. Sunil Mittal. He, however, said that it is not clear as to when the company would increase tariffs and that it would depend on market forces.
