Nothing ear (1) black edition wireless earbuds launched: All that’s new and not – Times of India

Nothing has launched the limited edition of their debut product ear (1). The Nothing ear (1) black edition features smoky finish with matte black silicone earbuds and internal casing. The limited edition earbuds are priced at Rs 6,999 and will be available to purchase on Flipkart’s website as well as on the company’s official website starting December 13. The company has also announced that the ear (1) black edition earbuds can be purchased using cryptocurrency like Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USD Coin (USDC) and Dogecoin (DOGE) in select countries. The list of these select countries does not include India.
The London-based Nothing recently slashed the prices of the regular edition of Nothing ear (1) earbuds that were launched in India in July this year. At the launch, Nothing TWS earbuds were priced at Rs 5,999 under a limited time offer. Post this, the earbuds were available at Rs 6,999. Recently, the company reduced the price by Rs 700, making it Rs 6,299.
What’s new and not in special edition Nothing ear (1) black edition
As for what’s new in Nothing ear (1) black edition, first is the colour. As the name suggests the special edition earbuds come in black colour with smoky finish. Second is price, the black edition earbuds are priced Rs 700 more than the regular earbuds.
All the other specifications of the limited edition earbuds are the same as that of regular ear (1) earbuds. The TWS earbuds sport transparent design and features 11.6mm driver that according to the company is tuned to produce balanced bass, mid and treble output. For connectivity, the earbuds get Bluetooth 5.2.
The earbuds also come with Active Noise Cancellation feature. It offers two levels of ANC along with the Transparency mode. The earbuds also feature Clear Voice Technology which claims to offer clear call quality by canceling out unnecessary distractions like wind noise. In terms of battery life, the ear (1) are rated to deliver around 5.7 hours of listening time and 34 hours including the case. It also supports ultra-fast charging where 10 minutes of charge of the case can deliver up to 8 hours of listening time. The case also supports wireless charging.
In addition to that, the ear (1) also comes with support for the Nothing app which allows users to use features like Find My Earbuds, choose preset equalisers, adjust ANC level and touch controls.
